Rites of Passage

These Rites represent milestones in a person's life. They may or may not occur in the order below, and some may happen simultaneously. Even though these Rites are human in nature, they are mirrored or shadowed by occurances in the natural world. More accurately, human nature mirrors or shadows the natural.

I have shown these Rites in relation to the Sabbat that represents the same basic ideas in the Wheel of the Year. I would love to say that I figured out these correspondences on my own, but I didn't. The basis for these Rites and their corresponding Sabbats is from the book "Pagan Rites of Passage" by Pauline Campanelli.
